Degrees:  Masters of Divinity (Magna Cum Laude) and Bachelor of Theology from Shaw Divinity School.  Bachelor of Arts in

Criminal Justice from Shaw University.

 

More Importantly:   He has been the Pastor and Leader of St. Matthew Baptist Church for the past Twenty-Eight (28 years).      His Philosophy is stated in Philippians, “I Can Do All Things

through Christ Who Strengthens Me.”  Rev. Avery is a firm

believer “In Walking by Faith and Not By Sight.”  And in
